MUSCAT: The Foreign Ministry expressed the Sultanate of Oman’s welcome to the Declaration on Commitment to Protect the Civilians signed between representatives of the Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces of the Republic of the Sudan in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.


The Sultanate of Oman affirmed its full support to the unity, stability and security of the Republic of the Sudan and the importance to continue dialogue between all Sudanese parties in order to achieve the aspirations of the brotherly Sudanese people for peace and stability.


At the same time, the Sultanate of Oman appreciates the essential role and positive efforts made by regional and international parties to reach this agreement led by the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the friendly United States of America. — ONA
