MUSCAT: Dr Laila bint Ahmed al Najar, Minister of Social Development, on Monday met with a delegation from the Retired Officers Association in Kuwait, visiting Oman and headed by retired Major General Faisal bin Musaed al Jazzaf, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Retired Officers Association of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces, Deputy President of the International Federation of Veterans of the Middle East Group, in the Ministry's General Office.
The Minister of Social Development welcomed the delegation stressing the importance of the visit which embodies the depth of the existing relationship between Oman and Kuwait. It is also an opportunity to exchange expertise and experiences in aspects and various sectors of social work. The head of the delegation expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Sultanate of Oman, appreciating the opportunity of his presence in the Ministry of Social Development as part of the visit programme. The meeting was attended by Brigadier General Hassan bin Ali al Mujaini, Head of Moral Guidance and Military Protocols, and officials of the Ministry of Social Development. - ONA
