Muscat: In the next 48 hours, a low-pressure formation could develop into a depression in the southeast of the Arabian Sea, according to Oman Met Office.

According to Oman Met Office weather forecasters, the direction of the movement is unclear since the system is yet to form.

"Once formed, the track will be clearer," said the weather forecaster.

"Until now, there has been no impact on Oman's weather. There would be no influence on Oman's weather conditions for the next five days."

After the formation of low pressure in a tropical system, one of the first impacts will be on the wind, which could influence the temperatures.
