MUSCAT: Dr Rahma bint Ibrahim al Mahrouqiyah, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation received on Thursday Dr Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Education of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, the two sides explored areas of joint cooperation and means of enhancing them in the fields of higher education, research and innovation. They also exchanged views and reiterated the importance of benefitting from the expertise of the two sides in a bid to expand research and increase students and academic exchange between the higher education establishments of the two countries.
The two sides also discussed several other topics, including opportunities of joint research cooperation and coordinating the holding of a mutual activity that brings together higher education establishments of Oman with counterparts in the UAE, among other topics. - ONA
