Muscat: The 1st meeting of the joint cooperation committee between the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation and Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) was held here toon Wednesday.
The meeting discussed a range of topics, namely the possibility of offering internal scholarships for the study of Master degrees in the College of Nursing at SQU and marketing SQU’s postgraduate programmes to the regional and international community through the Ministry.
The meeting also reviewed the cooperation between the Ministry and SQU in the fields of community service programmes, continuous learning and employee training.
The meeting was attended by HH SAyyid Dr Fahd Al Julanda al Said, Vice Chancellor of Sultan Qaboos University, Dr Bakhit Ahmed al Mahri, Higher Education Undersecretary and members of the committee from both sides.
