The minister underscored the comparative advantage of Oman’s geographical location, the availability of submarine cables linking the East with the West, and the business environment capable of attracting major international companies specialized in modern technologies, notably providers of cloud service.

Through its participation in "LEAP Riyadh 2023", Oman aspires to market local companies specialized in the field of communications and information technology and promote them in regional and global markets.

Oman also seeks to showcase its digital transformation initiatives. In this context, the Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises will organize an exposition on the sidelines of the event on tomorrow Tuesday to portray the capabilities of 21 Oman start-ups. A symbolic group of 21 Omani start-ups will be under the limelight.
