New batch of citizens joins ROP

MUSCAT: A new batch of national cadres joined the Royal Oman Police (ROP) on Sunday following the competition of the evaluation and admission procedures in coordination with the Ministry of Labour.


The new batch comprises holders of the general education diploma (GED) and post-GED certificates in mechanical and electronic engineering.


The new police recruits will join the Institute of Police Recruits at the Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences to undergo an integrated training and qualification programme that includes academic and scientific studies alongside military and sports training. — ONA
