New batch of women police recruits joins ROP

MUSCAT: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) in coordination with the Ministry of Labour, received a new batch of female citizens holding General Education Diploma (GED), on Sunday.


The new batch will receive military training and academic studies as ROP strives to provide an exemplary environment for the training of women police recruits at the hands of specialized women trainers at the Institute of Women Police of the Sultan Qaboos Academy for police sciences after which they will be able to carry out their police duties at various formations of the Royal Oman Police. — ONA
