Oman Data Park (ODP), the country’s first IT-managed and cloud services provider, has received the Data Management Award at the 2nd Big Data & Analytics Meet 2022 organised recently by COMEX Series. The Forum was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Transport, Communications, & Information Technology with the support of the Oman Information Technology Society.
Oman Data Park was recognised for its exceptional practices and achievements in hosting big data and analytics services, as well as for its distinction in promoting the digital transformation process in the Sultanate of Oman.
The company was cited for its lead role in data management and hosting services in the Sultanate of Oman, encompassing cloud services, data storage services, cyber security services and data hosting in-country, and optimizing use of information technologies in the country.
As Platinum Sponsor of the Big Data & Analytics Meet, ODP showcased a number of innovative services provided by the company in its fields of specialization. In addition, the company hosted a session entitled: Roadmap for Cloud Empowering Data Analysis & Al. Hassan Abdul al Ali, GM of Business Development, ODP, spoke during the session.
