The year 2022 marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and the Sultanate of Oman. “We are hoping that our music would contribute to further promoting our friendly ties”, the Commander of the Band said.

The Band started with “Flower Bloom" which is a charity song recorded to support the areas in Japan that were hit by the disastrous earthquake in 2011 and 2016. In the face of challenging times, Oman was one of the first countries that extended support to Japan.

The Band also performed a piece of music dedicated to the late His Majesty Sultan Qaboos.
