Muscat - Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, made a phone call this evening with Bishop Paul Richard Gallagher, Vatican Secretary of State for Relations with Countries.
During the call, the two sides affirmed their support for dialogue and their commitment to the values of tolerance, understanding, respect, the rules of international law, and the Charter of the United Nations.
The two sides also agreed to establish diplomatic relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Vatican State and to enhance constructive cooperation and mutual benefits for the good and harmony among nations.
