Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman will take part on Monday, September 19, 2022, in the Transforming Education Summit, held at the United Nations (UN) headquarters at New York.
The summit will review the repercussion of the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic on education.
The summit will also highlight matters related to education that need further improvement, namely sustainable development, digital transformation and funding.
Oman’s delegation in the summit will be headed by Dr Mohammed Awad al Hassan, the Sultanate of Oman’s Permanent Representative to the UN.
