Muscat - The body of a citizen who fell while practicing mountain climbing in Jabal Samhan in the Dhofar Governorate on Friday was recovered this morning.
The rescue teams from the Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority in the Governorate of Dhofar, the Governorate Police Command, the Royal Air Force of Oman, and the local citizens were able to reach the injured person.
The injured person and the body of the citizen who died were transported by helicopter to the hospital.
The Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority calls on citizens and residents to follow safety procedures and avoid taking risks while practicing mountain climbing.
