MoHT seeks to boost e-services ahead of peak tourism season

Salim bin Mohammed al Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism launched the Services Guide 2022 to improve the digital user experience within the framework of digital transformation. As part of the efforts to provide better services and with the country bracing for a peak tourism season this winter, the upcoming directory will include details about the establishments operating in various governorates.


The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism (MoHT) has urged all tourist establishments operating in the Sultanate of Oman to register in the directory.


"The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism (MoHT) invites all partners in the tourism sector in the Sultanate of Oman, to register in the tourism establishments directory, which will include data and contact numbers for all tourist establishments operating in the various governorates of the Sultanate of Oman. For further clarification and registration, contact at 99414492," the ministry said.


The Sultanate of Oman received 36,097 tourists in July this year, including those from India, which is the highest for this decade.
