Muscat: Activities of the annual strategic exercise “Decision Making-9” began at the National Defence College (NDC) on Sunday.
The exercise is carried out by the NDC ninth batch from various military, security and civil units under the direct supervision of Maj Gen Hamid Ahmed Sakroon, Commandants of the NDC and Director of the exercise.
The exercise aims to enhance the participants’ decision making on the strategic level, analysing the main strategic topics within simulated national, regional and international events. “Decision Making-9” also targets striking a balance in utilizing the country’s resources to achieve the national interests, establishing harmony in utilizing tools of global powers and developing strategic thinking.
