Ramadhan: HM greets citizens, residents

MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has addressed a message of greetings to Omani people, residents in Oman and the Islamic nation on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadhan.


The Diwan of Royal Court issued a statement to this effect which reads as follows: "Upon the advent of the holy month of Ramadhan 1443 AH and, as Muslims all over the globe revel over the blissful onset of the month-expressing gratitude to the Almighty Allah for making them witness to the new month, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has addressed a message of greetings and congratulations to Omani citizens, residents in the Sultanate of Oman and the whole Islamic nation on the advent of the holy month. His Majesty the Sultan prayed to the Almighty Allah to shower abundant blessings of Ramadhan on all Muslims and to bring back this occasion at a time when all are enjoying good health, happiness and peace. While according close attention to the safety of citizens and residents, His Majesty the Sultan has underscored the significance of all individuals and establishments’ maintaining compliance to precautionary measures to tackle coronavirus pandemic, notably by adhering to relevant instructions issued by the authorities concerned. May the Almighty Allah bestow His plentiful bounties on His Majesty the Sultan and guard him as a treasured source of pride and inspiration to this nation, its citizens and residents.” — ONA
