1st semester GED exam begins

MUSCAT: As many as 54,959 students of the general education diploma (GED) began their first semester examinations in 359 examination centres across the Sultanate of Oman on Sunday.


The students took the Arabic language exam on the first day.


There are four centres for the marking of the exam papers.


Officials from the directorates general of education in the governorates inspected the examination centres to make sure that the process goes smoothly and that the students are taking the exam in a suitable environment.
