19% rise in wheat production in the Sultanate

Muscat: The total production of wheat crop in the Sultanate for the agricultural season 2020/2021 reached 2,649 tonnes, an increase of 19 per cent compared to the last agricultural season.


The total area of land planted with wheat was 2,449 acres, and the number of farmers increased by 5.5%.
