The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, represented by Leadership Preparation Center, will organise Secretaries General workshop on Monday.
As many as 35 participants will take part in the event which will last for two days. Different topics and sessions will be featured during the forum including the best practices in the relationship of clubs with society, the future roles and initiatives for the clubs in civil society life in accordance with Oman Vision 2040 and appropriate suggestions.
The inauguration ceremony of the forum will be held under the auspices of Khalifa bin Saif al Esaai, Advisor of sporting bodies in the Office of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth for Sports and Youth in presence of officials in the Ministry and clubs representatives.
The two days event will highlight the main challenges and obstacles that was faced by the domestic clubs and the sporting directorates in different governorates in the Sultanate of Oman with the local community and find the possible solutions and recommendations for the development.
It is noteworthy that the forum aims to exchange experiences and pioneering experiences among the participants. Also, the event will aim for achieving more harmony, acquaintance and rapprochement between the secretaries and provide the appropriate environment for direct coordination and continuous communication between the various sports associations regarding the development of sports in the Sultanate of Oman.
Furthermore, developing appropriate strategies to serve the public interest and to enhance the work of the associations, clubs and sports committees.
