MUSCAT: The Ministry of Labour has embarked on the second phase of the written tests for the seventh advertisement of job vacancies in the public sector. The ministry invited 1,464 applicants vying for 85 job vacancies in the government sector.


Saif bin Sulaiman al Shaqsi, Head of the Department of Job Vacancies and Announcements at the Ministry of Labour, said that the new batch of tests for job-seekers comes within the framework of the second phase of the seventh advertisement. He added that the step comes in complementation of the Royal Directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik who gave his directives to prioritise the issue of employment of job-seekers. — ONA
