Public Prosecution conducts written tests for 1,400 job applicants

Muscat: The Public Prosecution Department on Tuesday conducted written tests for 1,400 applicants, from among holders of BA in Sharia and Law and above, who competed for the job of public prosecution assistant.


The candidates were put in two groups as a precautionary measure to curb the spread of coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic in line with the medical protocol endorsed in such cases. The sorting of candidates will be processed electronically as per a programme set by the Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) for tests of government institutions.


Nasr Khamis al Sawaee, Attorney General went on an inspection tour to follow up efforts made to conduct the tests, held at the SQU labs via computing systems monitored by the SQU’s Community Service and Ongoing Education Centre. --ONA
