More than 600 vie for 35 Govt jobs in South Al Sharqiyah

SUR: Within the context of directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to provide employment for job-seekers and, pursuant to the Government’s efforts in this respect, the Ministry of Labour on Tuesday conducted interviews and tests for applicants to jobs in government units in the Governorate of South Al Sharqiyah.


More than 600 citizens from the governorate appeared for the interviews and tests held at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences (Sur branch), to fill 35 vacancies at units belonging to four government departments: The Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and the Environment Authority.


Commenting on this, Salim bin Khalfan al Wahaibi, Head of Tests and Interviews Management Team, Ministry of Labour, said that the South Al Sharqiyah Governorate is the last station for the Job Announcement No 5/2021 to fill 1,003 vacancies. As many as 16,318 applied for the job vacancies. Within 25 working days, applicants from all governorates of the Sultanate were assessed. — ONA
