Oman reports 44 deaths, 2009 new cases

Muscat: The Ministry of Health (MOH) on Wednesday reported 2,009 new cases and 44 deaths over the past 24 hours.


The total number of cases registered in the Sultanate has now reached 268,545, including 3,100 deaths.


183 patients were admitted to hospitals across the country in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of inpatients to 1,597 including 519 in intensive care units.


The total number of recoveries is 234,863 while the recovery rate is 87.5 percent.
