A helicopter of the Royal Air Force of Oman carried out a medical evacuation for a ship crew of a transiting commercial ship near Salalah in the Dhofar Governorate due to a critical condition. The patient was transported to Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah for necessary treatment.
This comes within the framework of the humanitarian efforts provided by the Sultan's Armed Forces and other departments of the Ministry of Defense to citizens and residents on the homeland.
Meanwhile, the Indian Embassy thanked Omani authorities for support in securing urgent medical care for an Indian national onboard a merchant vessel (Jag Lokesh) late Wednesday.
