In line with ongoing efforts to rationalize public spending and enhance its efficiency, the Ministry of Finance (MOF) has issued the following directives.
A Government unit shall obtain prior approval from MOF before advertising any vacancy (whether internal or external advertisement) even if such unit has available financial grade for the vacancy.
The MOF shall be notified quarterly in detail by the Government units of all available financial grades.
All Internal audit departments in various government units shall ensure full compliance to the provision of the circular.
It has been noted that some government units are advertising their vacancies without obtaining prior approval from the Ministry of Finance (MOF).
