Tobacco producing unit busted in Buraimi, workers arrested

The Consumer Protection authorities in Buraimi arrested workers for producing tobacco-related products at a residential apartment in the governorate.   As per the details,it was brought to the notice of the department that a few expatriate workers produced and sold chewing tobacco in large quantities in one of the apartments. The inspectors monitored their movements to confirm their activities and seized 11,237 items of chewed tobacco, 197 kg of raw materials used in production and cash worth RO 297.
