Green turtle returns to Oman after 29 years

Muscat: A green turtle has returned to the Sultanate' shores for nesting in Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve in South Sharqiyah Governorate after 29 years.


This particular turtle was tracked for the first time in 1991 by the Environment Authority in cooperation with the Scientific Centre.
