MUSCAT: Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed al Saeedi, Minister of Health, will open on Monday Khoula Hospital new building. The opening ceremony will be attended by Shaikh Suhail bin Salim Bahwan al Mukhaini, Chairman of Suhail Bahwan Group, as well as senior officials. Built in an area of more than 11,000sq mts, the new building consists of outpatient clinics, rehabilitation, and day care surgery, which cost RO 8 million, a generous contribution made by Suhail Bahwan Group. These sections are new additions to the healthcare services delivered by the ministry in general and by Khoula Hospital in particular. Moreover, they confirm the principle of social responsibility among private sector institutions in supporting the multi-governmental projects. The outpatient clinics have already started receiving patients a month ago, while the rehabilitation and day care surgery sections started functioning on Sunday. — ONA
