MUSCAT: The President of Sudan, Field Marshal Omer al Bashir has conferred Al Nelein Order [Order of the Two Niles] (First Class) on Dr Tareq bin Mosa la Zedjali, Director-General of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD), for his role in supporting the march of agricultural development and ensuring food security in the Arab world. The order was conferred on Al Zedjali when he was received by President Al Bashir in his office in the republican palace. Al Zedjali, whose tenure is nearing expiry, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the government and the people of Sudan considering the order as an honour to the Arab youth and the Omani youth in particular. — ONA
