MUSCAT: The Capital Market Authority organised the third training programme this year under the title “Skill of Selling and Marketing” as part of the training series planned for this year to empower the national employees to take medium and senior administrative and technical roles rather than focusing on operational roles. Thirty employees working in sales sections in insurance companies, brokers and agents participate in the programme which focuses on sales and purchases ethics in the insurance sector as well as building up marketing plans for the products of the sector. Trainees will be acquainted with how to develop insurance products while maintaining after the sale quality. CMA is keen to qualify the employees of sales departments to enhance the marketing as certain products are not receiving the required turnout despite their importance due to the volume of the risks such as homes insurance and workers’ insurance.
