Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has sent a cable of congratulations to Mojtaba Khamenei on the occasion of his selection as the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In the cable, His Majesty expressed his sincere wishes of success to Mojtaba Khamenei in assuming his leadership responsibilities, wishing him success in leading Iran and achieving further progress and stability.
Mojtaba Khamenei was selected as Iran’s new Supreme Leader by the Assembly of Experts following the death of his father, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
