The holidays for Eid al Adha in Oman have been announced for both the private and public sectors sector by the respective ministries- from August 31 (Thursday) till September 4 (Monday). The work will resume on Tuesday, September 5.

On the occasion of the Eid al-Adha, 1438 AH, it was decided to be the Eid holiday for employees in ministries, public bodies and other units of the administrative apparatus of the state From August 31 to September 4 to resume the official working day on Tuesday, September 5.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser al Bakri, Minister of Manpower, issued a decision to set a vacation Eid Al - Adha for employees of companies, institutions and private sector establishments from August 31 to Septembr 4.
The decision authorizes employers and employees to agree to compensation for such leave necessitated the need to work during them and the workers who coincide with their vacation must be compensated
Weekly leave during the said occasion.
