Muscat: António Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations, has praised the great contribution of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos' in the field of regional and international diplomacy.
Guterres also offered condolences on the demise of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos.
The United Nations flag has been flown at half-mast as a mark of respect to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos.
