Muscat: Muscat Governorate has announced its support for the Muscat Heritage Run 2026, an initiative aimed at promoting physical fitness, celebrating the governorate’s cultural heritage and encouraging community participation.
The event seeks to offer a unique sporting and cultural experience that highlights Muscat’s historical and tourism attractions while bringing together participants through an engaging outdoor activity.
According to Muscat Governorate, the initiative will showcase the historical and tourism assets of the governorate and draw attention to some of the capital’s prominent landmarks.
The run is also intended to encourage physical activity, strengthen community engagement and provide participants with an opportunity to explore the rich heritage of Muscat in a distinctive way.
By combining sports, tourism and culture, the Muscat Heritage Run 2026 aims to promote a healthier lifestyle while raising awareness of the governorate’s historical significance and tourism potential.
