IBRA: The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology (MoTCIT) organised an initiative titled “Bridges of Integration and Knowledge Transfer” in Al Sharqiyah North Governorate. The initiative aimed to foster institutional integration between the ministry and other government departments across Oman’s governorates, facilitating the exchange of expertise, experiences and developmental practices to enhance the efficiency of government performance. It was held in the presence of Mahmoud bin Yahya al Thuhli, Governor of Al Sharqiyah North. The meeting included an overview of the ministry’s strategic plan, areas of institutional excellence and the achievements and performance indicators of the transport and logistics sector, and outlined the objectives of the National Programme for Digital Economy. An interactive panel discussion elaborated on the aspirations and challenges of government departments, as well as ways to strengthen coordination and the exchange of knowledge and expertise across sectors. — ONA
