DHANK: Five development agreements worth approximately RO 200,000 were signed with the private sector in Dhank on Tuesday to support education, healthcare, social development, sports and religious services.
The agreements will fund projects and community initiatives in the wilayat in Al Dhahirah Governorate, strengthening cooperation between private businesses, government bodies and community organisations.
The signing ceremony was held under the auspices of Tahir bin Mabkhout al Junaibi, Governor of Al Dhahirah, in the presence of Muslim bin Ahmed al Maashani, Wali of Dhank, and representatives of government and community entities.
The initiatives also cover endowments, or awqaf, and religious affairs, forming part of efforts to improve local services and residents’ quality of life.
The agreements support broader efforts to encourage private sector participation in community development across Oman and advance the social development objectives of Oman Vision 2040. — ONA
