SUHAR: Sohar University has been ranked 65th in the QS Arab Region University Rankings 2027, a rise of 16 places from 81st last year and 35 places from 100th in the 2025 edition.
The university scored 99.6 for International Faculty Ratio, 91.3 for Staff with PhD and 87.0 for Citations per Paper, along with 67.5 for Papers per Faculty and 55.9 for Academic Reputation. The university said the results reflected its international diversity, qualified faculty and research impact, as well as its growing regional standing.
