MUSCAT: The Omani Association for the Care of the Holy Quran held the Quranic Centres Forum and honouring ceremony, bringing together nearly 200 administrators, teachers and staff from Quranic centres affiliated with the association across several governorates of Oman.

The forum featured working papers and discussions on Quranic education, Quranic competitions, the devotional aspects of Quranic education, and guidance for Quran teachers. It also explored the use of artificial intelligence in educational and practical fields, while highlighting successful experiences from various Quranic centres.

The ceremony also announced the results of the 'Excellence Standards' competition, which seeks to encourage Quranic centres, recognise their efforts and motivate them to enhance their performance in educational, administrative, supervisory and other areas.

Saham Quranic Centre and Ibri Quranic Centre shared first place, while Salalah Quranic Centre secured second place, Adam Quranic Centre third place, and Wadi Al Maawil Quranic Centre fourth place.

The event also featured a presentation on the 'Riyadh Al Fath' project and the results of the summer programmes, followed by the honouring of participating Quranic centres in recognition of their efforts and achievements in serving the Holy Quran. — ONA
