MANAH: The Sultan Qaboos Institute for Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers has welcomed the 64th batch of students for the first session of the 2026/2027 academic year.

The new batch comprises students from 14 countries including the United Kingdom, France, Hungary, Ukraine, Mexico, Russia, Belarus, Poland, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, India, South Korea, Turkey and Tanzania. This reflects the institute’s role in promoting the Arabic language among non-native speakers, as well as introducing them to the Omani culture and offering them the opportunity to learn about the Omani society, heritage and customs.

The reception of the new batch comes within the framework of the institute’s constant efforts to provide specialized programmes in teaching the Arabic language. The programme combines academic study, practical application and cultural activities to develop the language skills of students and enhance their communication with the native speakers of Arabic language and introduce them to the Arab culture.
