Dr Madeeha bint Ahmed al Shaibani, Minister of Education, approved the general indicators for the results of the General Education Diploma (GED) and its equivalents for the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic year, on Wednesday.
The pass rate for the General Education Diploma was 83.37 per cent, private bilingual schools (92.39 per cent). The pass rate for the GED (Technical) at the Royal Guard of Oman Technical College (bilingual) was 94.55 per cent. The GED for Islamic Studies achieved a pass rate of 100 per cent, while that of the GED for special education) was 95.65 per cent. The GED for Vocational and Technical recorded a pass rate of 82.6 per cent.
The results will be available starting 4:00 pm today (Thursday) via SMS through the Omantel, Ooredoo, and Vodafone networks. To access the results, send your candidate number in a text message to 90200. The results will also be available through the Parent App.
Those wishing to request a review of their exam papers can submit their requests through the Sultanate of Oman’s educational portal, using the Request to Review Grade 12 Exam Results service. The service will be available from Friday, July 17 until Thursday, July 23.
