Muscat: Muscat Municipality, in cooperation with the Royal Oman Police (ROP), announced the implementation of a temporary traffic diversion in the al Awabi area of Muscat Governorate, effective from the evening of Sunday, July 12.

The diversion has been introduced as part of the ongoing al Ansab–al Jifnain dualisation project, which is currently undergoing road expansion works.

According to the municipality, the temporary traffic arrangement is intended to facilitate the smooth flow of traffic while construction activities are underway.

Motorists have been urged to exercise caution, comply with the traffic signs and directions in place, and follow all safety instructions to ensure the safety of road users and workers at the project site.

Muscat Municipality said the diversion will remain in effect throughout the relevant phase of the roadworks and thanked the public for their cooperation during the implementation of the infrastructure project.
