

AL RUSTAQ: Dr Abdullah bin Nasser al Harrasi, Minister of Information and Eng Masoud bin Said al Hashmi, Governor of Al Batinah South, discussed on Monday means of enhancing media work in a manner that contributes to highlighting the historical, cultural, economic and tourism components that the governorate boasts.
The discussions also covered shedding light on the developmental achievements and their impact on the lives of individuals and society across the various wilayats of the governorate.
The meeting, held at the office of the Governor of Al Batinah South, addressed boosting media efforts to present a comprehensive image of Al Batinah South Governorate. This is to be achieved by introducing the governorate’s components and opportunities, highlighting developmental projects and initiatives, and reviewing their impacts on the lives of individuals and society, along with their role in enhancing local development, thereby boosting societal awareness and keeping pace with the targets of comprehensive development.
The two sides emphasised the importance of providing media content that reflects the governorate's identity, highlights the uniqueness of its wilayats and their diverse components, and sheds light on the success stories and transformations the governorate is witnessing across various fields. This aims to enhance its media presence and introduce the opportunities and potential it possesses. Furthermore, they exchanged views on a number of topics of mutual interest.
This meeting comes within the framework of enhancing cooperation and coordination between the Ministry of Information and the Office of the Governor of Al Batinah South.
It supports the efforts aimed at presenting an integrated media image of the governorate, highlighting its various components, and reflecting the impact of the march of development on individuals and society. — ONA
