His Majesty concludes visit to French Republic

Paris: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik left Paris this evening, concluding his visit to the French Republic, en route to the United Kingdom on a private visit.

His Majesty was seen off by Nicolas Forissier, Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Attractiveness; Nabil Hajlaoui, Ambassador of the French Republic to the Sultanate of Oman; Ahmed bin Mohammed al Araimi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the French Republic; Amna bint Salem Al Balushi, Permanent Delegate of the Sultanate of Oman to UNESCO; and a number of senior French military officers and members of the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in the French Republic.

His Majesty the Sultan sent a cable of profound gratitude and appreciation to the French President, expressing his deep thankfulness for the warm welcome and generous hospitality extended to him and his accompanying delegation throughout the visit. His Majesty further extended his sincere wishes of continued health and well‑being for the French President, and enduring progress and prosperity for the friendly French people.
