Oman expresses solidarity with Philippines after deadly earthquake

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman's Foreign Ministry expressed Oman’s solidarity with the government and people of the Philippines following the earthquake that struck the southern part of the country and resulted in casualties and injuries.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the ministry conveyed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, as well as to the government and people of the Philippines over the loss of lives caused by the disaster.

The ministry also wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the earthquake, reaffirming the Sultanate of Oman’s support and solidarity with the Philippines during this difficult time.

The earthquake struck southern Philippines, prompting concerns over its humanitarian impact and resulting in a number of deaths and injuries, according to official reports.
