Thai woman caught with 5.4kg marijuana at Muscat airport

Muscat: Customs officials at Muscat International Airport successfully foiled an attempt to smuggle narcotics after seizing 14 packages of marijuana weighing a total of 5.426 kilograms.

According to authorities, the narcotics were found carefully concealed inside the personal luggage of a female passenger of Thai nationality arriving through the airport.

The operation was carried out by customs officers at Muscat International Airport as part of ongoing efforts to combat drug smuggling and enhance border security.
