A woman of Asian nationality was arrested by the Directorate General for combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, in cooperation with the Muscat International Airport Directorate of Customs, upon her arrival at the airport with a quantity of marijuana
She had hidden it in her travel bags with the intention of smuggling it into the country and trafficking it. Legal proceedings are being completed against her.
