MUSCAT: Muscat Municipality has issued a new set of health and safety guidelines for customers visiting barbershops across the governorate, aiming to ensure a secure and comfortable environment for both patrons and staff.

The official advisory urges residents to book their appointments in advance to minimize crowding and reduce waiting times inside the salons. Upon entering the premises, customers are expected to wash their hands to protect public health and maintain strict hygiene standards. To further enhance safety, the municipality strongly recommends that customers bring their own personal grooming tools whenever possible, strictly warning against the sharing of personal items such as towels and shaving equipment.

Additionally, the health directives advise patrons to inform barbers of any skin allergies prior to the application of any creams or grooming products. Officials also emphasized the importance of maintaining calm and orderly conduct inside the shops to ensure a comfortable and professional experience for everyone present.
