MUSCAT, MAY 14

The Sultanate of Oman is participating in the Karate 1-Youth League Championship, hosted in Manila, Philippines, from May 14 to 17, under the supervision of the World Karate Federation (WKF).

International Referees Yousef bin Musallam al Siyabi, Ali Riza Neyrouzi and Hisham Bani Toroof are representing Oman in this international event.

This participation comes as part of the Oman Karate Committee’s efforts to strengthen the presence of Omani officials in international arenas and to provide referees with opportunities to gain further experience through officiating and following major global youth karate events.

Omani referees continue to make distinguished appearances in WKF-approved championships, reflecting the remarkable development of karate officiating in the Sultanate of Oman and the high level of competence achieved by Omani referees on both continental and international stages.

The Karate 1-Youth League is considered one of the most prominent international karate championships for cadets and youth categories, bringing together talented athletes and referees from around the world under the official rules and regulations of the World Karate Federation.
