Royal Decree reorganizes Oman Human Rights Commission

Muscat:  His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik on Tuesday issued Royal decree No 47/2026 on reorganizing Oman Human Rights Commission, reading as follows:

 

Article (1) replaces the bylaw of Oman Human Rights Commission attached to Royal decree No 57/2022 on reorganizing Oman Human Rights Commission with the bylaw attached to this decree.

 

Article (2) stipulates that the membership of the members of Oman Human Rights Commission as per Royal decree No 76/2023 on appointing members of Oman Human Rights Commission shall remain in effect until such time as the Commission is reconstituted in accordance with the bylaw attached to this decree.

 

Article (3) cancels all that contradicts the bylaw attached to this decree or contravenes its provisions.

 

Article (4) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from the day following its date of publishing.
