AL BURAIMI: The 6th edition of an employment exhibition codenamed 'Furas' (Opportunities) kicked off on Sunday at the University of Buraimi in Al Buraimi Governorate.

More than 30 government departments and private sector establishments are taking part in the three-day exhibition, which is organised by the University of Buraimi in cooperation with Al Buraimi Governor’s Office and the Office of the Ministry of Labour.

The opening ceremony was held under the auspices of Sayyid Dr Hamad bin Ahmed al Busaidy, Governor of Al Buraimi.

The exhibition seeks to provide opportunities of employment and training for job-seekers, promote partnership between academic institutions and the labour market and support national talents by enabling them to engage in various sectors.

The exhibition reflects Al Buraimi Governorate’s keenness to enhance employment and vocational training. The programme offers more than 100 employment opportunities and more than 290 training opportunities. — ONA
